About MarketingHire.com

Our History

MarketingHire.com was founded in 2004 by Peter DeLegge of Marketing Today/Peter DeLegge Consulting, based out of the Chicago, IL area. While it ceased publication in 2006, Marketing Today’s email subscribers represented marketers from more than 70% of the companies in the Fortune 500. The publication had gained global noteriety and had been recommended by a who's who of respected marketers like Seth Godin, business schools such as Harvard and Vanderbilt, Northwestern’s Medill School and in  magazines such as Fast Company, Inc, Entrepreneur, as well as other online publications, such as MarketingSherpa. Its success and following led the way to developing a job board and series of articles which became MarketingHire.com.

MarketingHire.com has been cited and/or featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired, Direct, DM News, American Marketing Association News, Crain’s BtoB... About Nancy Roach, Director, MarketingHire.com

Nancy Roach has played a vital role in MarketingHire.com from day one (well, technically, before day one!). Ms. Roach's insights from her background in Human Resources were critical in the development of MarketingHire.com, ensuring the site would have significant value to HR professionals seeking alternatives to the big general job boards, which tend to be great at churning out high volumes of candidate submissions, but considerably less great when it comes to the percent of highly qualified, high caliber candidates.
